These terms cover buying a book from thesirrcode.com and using this site. They are short on purpose.
1. Who you are dealing with
The seller is Dr Sarah Choudhary, 600 Park Offices Drive, Suite 300, Durham, NC 27713, USA. Contact: sarah@sarahchoudhary.com. By placing an order or using this site you agree to these terms.
2. Prices
All prices are in US dollars. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. US shipping is included in the listed price, and there is no separate shipping charge at checkout. Prices can change, but a change never applies to an order already placed.
3. Orders and payment
Payment is taken by Stripe. Your order is placed when Stripe confirms payment and sends you a receipt. Keep the receipt number. It is how your order is found. If an order cannot be fulfilled, for example because the shipping address is outside the United States, you will be told by email and refunded in full.
4. Print on demand and delivery
Print copies are printed to order and shipped from within the United States. Delivery estimates on this site are estimates, not guarantees. Typical delivery is 7 to 12 business days after the order. Carriers, weather, and print queues can move that window. Details are on the Shipping and Returns page.
5. Signed copies
Signed copies are packed and posted by Sarah and ship within five business days of the order.
6. Returns and replacements
Damaged or misprinted copies are replaced free of charge. Because every copy is printed to order, change-of-mind returns are not offered. The full policy is on the Shipping and Returns page.
7. The eBook
The eBook is sold on Apple Books. Apple's terms and refund policy govern that purchase. This site does not sell or deliver the eBook.
8. Intellectual property
The Sirr Code, its text, its cover, and the contents of this site, including the self-check questions and the chapter published here, are copyright Dr Sarah Choudhary. All rights reserved. You may read the site and quote short passages with attribution. You may not copy, republish, distribute, or sell the book or the site content without written permission.
9. The self-check
The self-check on the home page is a self-check, not a diagnosis. It has not been validated, normed, or tested for reliability, and it should not be read as a clinical or psychometric instrument. It puts eighteen plain questions to you and shows you where your own answers cluster. Nothing more is claimed for it.
10. Not professional advice
The book and this site are for general information and personal reflection. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Decisions about your health, your money, and your business are yours. Take advice from a qualified professional where you need it.
11. Limitation of liability
The book and the site are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, the seller is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or the book. For any order, total liability is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law does not allow to be removed.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA. Any dispute is heard in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.
13. Changes
These terms may be updated. The version posted here with the current effective date applies. An order is governed by the terms in force on the day it was placed. This version took effect on .
