Effective September 26, 2026

This policy says what the site collects, why, who handles it, and how to have it removed. It is written to be read.

Who runs this site

thesirrcode.com is run by Dr Sarah Choudhary, 600 Park Offices Drive, Suite 300, Durham, NC 27713, USA. Questions about this policy go to sarah@sarahchoudhary.com.

What is collected

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics script as of the date at the top of this page. If page-view analytics is added later, it will be disclosed here, the effective date will change, and it will measure aggregate traffic rather than individuals. Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout pages under Stripe's privacy policy. Apple Books runs under Apple's.

Who processes your data

Each of these companies acts under its own privacy policy. None of them is given more than it needs to do its job. Signed copies are packed and posted by Sarah herself, so for those orders your address is handled by her and the postal carrier.

Your data is not sold

Your data is not sold, rented, or traded. It is not shared with advertisers. Buying a book does not subscribe you to anything. Your email address is used to send your receipt and to answer questions about your order.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email sarah@sarahchoudhary.com from the address you used at checkout and say what you want done. Requests are honored unless the law requires a record to be kept, for example a sales record kept for tax purposes. No certification is claimed under GDPR, CCPA, or any similar law. The commitment is plainer than that: residents of any country or state may ask for access or deletion, and the request will be acted on.

How long records are kept

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Emails are kept for as long as the matter they concern is open.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
